Pronto is The Austin Company's custom Enterprise Information Portal.  Pronto is designed to give quick access to a wealth of information stored on our network. 

Pronto is a single, uniform point from which all of Austin's data sources can be accessed.  Data sources can be categorized as follows:

• Structured Data - Lotus Notes, SQL Server (ProMIS+), Microsoft Access, etc.
• Unstructured Data - emails, files, archives, pictures, etc.
• Enterprise Applications - JDEdwards Financial, Human Resources, etc.

Over the years, we have created a lot of information and an infrastructure that allows offices to share/access this information.  It is not enough to simply have information.  The information should be easily accessible so that it can be turned into action and ultimately into results.  Pronto provides an easy access to this information. 

Pronto uses the Web Browser technology to give users access to this heterogeneous data by unifying information from a user-centric perspective.  Users, once authenticated, have a menu customized to their individual role in the Company.  Using the menu, they can access available data with just a few clicks.  Besides being user friendly, Pronto is also available 24 hous a day, 7 days a week.
